In August 2018. Gilda and Pzazzband perfomed for ESRA Hertzlia. The 7stars Home in Hertzlia , hosted the event. As with the other concerts in this series the main events hall was packed with an enthusiastic audience who were enthralled by the musical talents of Gilda and the band. Bess Hoffman was the event organizer , she introduced the evening and was proud to report on the generous funds raised for their local worthwhile cause. Gilda sang many of her favotite songs made famous by Ella Fitzgerald, sara Vaughan and Billie Holiday etc
On the 21 June ESRA Modi'in celeberated their 'end of year' party with a concert held in Schlavim community center, Modi'in. The venue was packed with ESRA members enjoying a great evening of entertainment. Providingg the music were Pzazzband and Gilda. A light meal was served then the band performed their first set of songs and instrumentals. After the break Gilda continued to charm the audience with her brand of cool jazz. The party overan, the set time , but no one cared and demanded not one but two enclores. All in all a great evening of music and funds raised forsome of ESRA Modi'in,s worthwhile charities
In June, Rehovot ESRA celebrated a half year milestone at their new home, Havaya Schweitz Community Center in the neighborhood Rehovot HaHadasha. The money raised will go to worthwhile causes. The music was supplied by Pzazzband, who have also been performing in other ESRA clubs around the country.The songs ranged from classic Standards such as, Pennies from Heaven, Bewitched Bothered and Bewildered, to blues and show tunes belted out by Gilda, whose style is reminiscent of Billie Holiday. We were all tapping our feet, and singing along with Gilda. It was a great party.
In February, Ra'anana ESRA hosted a Pzazzband concert at the Yad lebaninim auditorium Ahuza Ra' anana. The money raised will go to worthwhile causes. The music was supplied by Pzazzband, who have also been performing in other ESRA clubs around the country. On vocals was the amazing jazz blues singer Gilda who is known locally as Israel's Billie Holiday . Joining the band at this concert was Amnon Ben Artzi on Trombone and Kobi Saloman on Clarinet. A great concert for a worthwhile cause
Pzazzband along with ace songstress Gilda Hami paid a repeat visit to the Lowe Galilee recently when they performed at Karmiel municipal auditorium. The evening went with the band's usual swing style for which they are famous amongst Israel's Anglo Community. Solo vocalist Gilda, who sings in the Billie Holiday style, belted out many of those perenial favorites that audiences love so much. All money raised is going towards a special project for Karmiel Kfar Yeladim.
